Hong Kong-born driver Gerrard Xie joins Hitech Grand Prix in his sophomore season in the GB3 Championship

Xie climbed the ranks in karting from the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy through the IAME Asia Series and the IAME Asia Cup, where he took third in class in 2020. He also competed in the FIA Karting European Championship at OK level and the WSK Euro Series.

Dominating the F4 Chinese Championship in 2022, the young driver claimed the series title with 12 outstanding race wins under his belt. He then went on to finish as runner-up in the Macau Grand Prix the same year. Xie graduated to GB3 in 2023, where he took a race win and several points finishes in his maiden season.
