South Korea’s Michael Shin will join Hitech GP’s assault on the GB3 Championship for 2023, having served his apprenticeship in Formula 4 over the past two years.
After moving to the UK and conducting a full season of testing in F4, Shin made his competitive debut in the British and UAE Championships, winning on just his fifth start in the former.
The 18-year-old was an ever-present in the top ten amongst a competitive field, and ended the year by representing his nation at the FIA Motorsport Games.
