Alex Dunne has only been racing in single seaters for two years, but in that time the Irishman has made quite the impression.
The 17-year-old made the headlines with a storming run to the British F4 title in 2022, in a season that included a record-breaking 11 race victories, the most achieved by any driver in a single season in the category.
Dunne also took the battle for the Italian F4 series down to the wire, ultimately finishing 2nd, and has also enjoyed podium success during part-season appearances in the German, Spanish and UAE championships.
His efforts earned him selection for a Ferrari Driver Academy scouting camp at the end of the year, and full-time association with the top level of the sport is unlikely to be very far away for the talented teenager.
